With the retirement of Mr. Neil Strachan last year, Anzac Terrace was on the search for a new Deputy Principal.  At the end of last term, we advertised (as per Departmental policy).  At the beginning of the term 25 applications from all over Western Australia (and even one from the Northern Territory) were received.  A panel comprising of a Level 6 Principal, Level 3 Deputy Principal (both from the South Metropolitan Education Region) and myself was formed.  A shortlist of applicants was compiled and six applicants went to interview.  With this onerous task behind us, I am very pleased to announce that Ms Amanda McAlpine has won the substantive position of Deputy Principal for Anzac Terrace PS.   Congratulations Amanda.
